Dear Hanes Families,

I am thrilled to serve as your principal. Hanes Magnet School holds a very special place in my heart, as it is where I began my teaching career years ago. Hanes is a one-of-a-kind school, where we bring diverse students from all parts of Forsyth County together under one roof and provide a learning experience like no other. As a STEM Magnet, Hanes students will have access to classrooms where they will engage in problem solving, designing, engineering, and much more. Students at Hanes have exclusive access to Project Lead the Way classes, where they get to further explore:

I look forward to building upon the tradition of academic excellence, high standards for all students, and a school culture that brings all parts of Forsyth County together. As a staff, we will support the individual needs of each and every child who enters our building by meeting students where they’re at, and providing them the support they need both academically and emotionally to flourish in an ever-changing world. Not only will students have access to an incredible teaching staff, but they also will have opportunities to play sports and join our unique blend of after-school clubs and activities where they can meet new people, develop leadership skills, and unlock and explore their passion.
