HOSA

Kennedy High School’s HOSA chapter had an outstanding showing at the 2025–2026 NC HOSA Regional Leadership Conference, demonstrating hard work, professionalism, and dedication to the healthcare field.

This year, 17 students represented JFK — and their results were exceptional. Thirteen of our competitors placed in the Top 10, earning recognition for their knowledge, skills, and leadership. Even more impressive, five students earned 1st or 2nd place in their events, securing top honors in a highly competitive region.

These accomplishments are a testament not only to the strength of our Health Science and Pharmacy Tech programs, but also to the guidance and support of Instructor Shalinda Witcher, who continues to prepare and inspire our future healthcare professionals.

Next stop: The HOSA State Leadership Conference in Greensboro, March 25–27, 2026, where our Lions will compete against the best in North Carolina. We are proud of our students and excited to cheer them on as they continue their journey toward excellence in the healthcare field.

Congratulations to all our competitors — and thank you, Ms. Witcher, for your leadership. JFK is roaring with pride!
