John F. Kennedy High School has been honored as one of 24 schools named a 2025 PTEC Signature School by the Piedmont Triad Education Consortium (PTEC). The announcement was made during PTEC’s Annual Meeting held Thursday, December 11, at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
The PTEC Signature School distinction recognizes schools that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to student achievement, innovative teaching practices, and meaningful school improvement. As a Signature School, John F. Kennedy High School stands out for its dedication to preparing students for what's next. Through rigorous instruction, hands-on activities, internships, and industry certifications, our Career and Technical Education programs provide students with the skills and experiences they need to succeed in college, careers, and beyond.
