HUB

John F. Kennedy High School is proud to announce a new partnership with The HUB (Harnessing Unlimited Brilliance), powered by the Fresh Hope Workforce Development Ecosystem, to provide students with additional opportunities to prepare for successful futures beyond high school.

This partnership reflects JFK's commitment to ensuring every student graduates with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to pursue college, careers, military service, or industry certifications with confidence.

Working alongside the Fresh Hope Workforce Development Ecosystem, JFK will connect students with career readiness experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Rising seniors and recent graduates will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive workforce development program focused on leadership, personal growth, and career preparation.

Participants will receive:

  • Individual career coaching and mentoring

  • Leadership and professional skills development

  • Financial literacy training

  • Industry-recognized certifications

  • Technology and workplace readiness

  • Employer engagement and networking opportunities

  • Long-term career planning and success coaching

Students will also explore career pathways in high-demand industries, including skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, construction, information technology, cyber intelligence, logistics, transportation, and entrepreneurship.

Initially, The HUB will serve two student cohorts:

  • Class of 2026 Graduates

    – (60 available spots)

  • Rising Seniors (Class of 2027)

    – (60 available spots)

"Our goal is for every student to graduate with a vision, a purpose, and a pathway to success," said Dr. Alfreda Smith, Principal of John F. Kennedy High School. "This partnership expands opportunities for our students by connecting them with leadership development, career readiness experiences, and community partners who are invested in their future."

The HUB is part of the Fresh Hope Workforce Development Ecosystem, a collaborative network of educators, employers, nonprofit organizations, workforce agencies, faith-based organizations, and community leaders working together to strengthen career opportunities and economic mobility for young adults.

At John F. Kennedy High School, we believe that meaningful partnerships create meaningful opportunities. By connecting students with real-world experiences, professional mentors, and workforce training, we are helping prepare the next generation of leaders for success after graduation.
