The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to TJMS Monday, October 26 through Friday, October 30. Funds raised will help support new library purchases at TJMS.
Students will preview the fair with their ELA classes on 10/26 and can shop during school hours all week. Parents, visit our book fair website to create an eWallet with a pre-set amount of money for your student to spend! (If your student has funds left over from a previous Scholastic book fair, you need to create a new eWallet for this fair & then roll those funds over.) Our 6th graders had the incredible opportunity to hear from author Kwame Mbalia during his visit on September 25! Students learned about his writing process, heard about his newest book, Jax Freeman and the Graveyard Forest, and even had the chance to ask their own questions.
What a great way to inspire our next generation of readers and writers! ✍️📖

LEAD Girls unlocks the full potential of girls at one of the most critical moments in their lives. LEAD Girls has a clear purpose and focus on instilling unstoppable leadership in girls through the best possible development tools and by surrounding them with a highly supportive community.

Our GLAM Club - Girls, Leadership, Awareness, Mentoring is open to girls interested in leadership, mentoring, and personal growth. The GLAM interest meeting is on October 9th in the Media Center. Please have a ride home by 3:15.
