I received my master's degree in school counseling from Marshall University Graduate College...Go Herd! I am also a licensed clinical mental health counselor. I feel very blessed to be a school counselor here at TJMS! I encourage parents to contact me with questions or concerns about their student. I enjoy speaking with and supporting students. I serve as the Lead Counselor for the Counseling Center. I am the counselor and 504 coordinator for all 6th graders and Emperors. I am very involved with scheduling and other student activity/event coordination.

I am a native of West Virginia. I have been living in Winston-Salem, NC since 2005. I have four adult children, 9 grandchildren. I love to spoil them all! We are a family who make it a point to spend time together across the miles regularly. I have a sassy French Bulldog named Lu.

I love French fries, ice cream and chocolate! I enjoy walking, hiking, and riding my bike, the beach, the mountains, I enjoy rocking babies, swinging, working puzzles, birds singing, fresh flowers throughout my house, old music, the theater and holidays. My dream, to write a children's book.
