After weeks of community outreach, a schoolwide fun run, and the ceremonial sliming of a lot of teachers and staff, Lewisville Elementary raised $82,300 in their annual direct donation drive - more than twice their original goal. Congrats, Cool Cats!

Important Message to Kindergarten Families Regarding Lunches: Parents/Guardians, As we are trying to develop routines with our new Kindergarten Students, we are asking that you not come eat lunch with your student. The first few weeks of school are crucial to routine building and social development. Beginning September 16, 2024, parents, and guardians are more than welcome to come eat with their students. Between now (08/16/2024) and Friday, September 13,2024 any Kindergarten Parent/ Guardian who come into the office for lunch with a Kindergartener, will be asked to come back another day. Please also be sure to ALWAYS sign in as a visitor, and if you need assistance signing in and/or locating the cafeteria, Office Staff will help you. Thank you for understanding.
Car Line Reminders: We know the car line is long! It is getting better each day! Please follow the guidelines below to help us keep things rolling in the mornings and afternoons:
Have students seated on the passenger side of the vehicle and ready to exit on the right side. Younger children should practice buckling and unbuckling themselves.
All adults should remain in your car - we have staff available to assist students if needed. Do not get out of your car - this is a safety issue!
Refrain from using your cell phone while in our car line - the text or phone call is not more important than the safety of our students and staff.
Do not arrive at the car line early! This causes unnecessary backups and if you arrive more than 15 minutes prior to arrival (7:25 am) or dismissal (2:25pm), you may be asked to leave and return. We have to keep entrances/exits clear in case of an emergency. Please share this information with any family members who may assist with student drop off and pick up.
In the afternoons, please hang the PINK car tag on your rearview mirror with the number clearly visible. Our staff will enter the number, and your student will be brought to your car. Please discard any old car tags as we change the numbers every year. If you need additional car tags or hangers, please contact your child’s teacher.
Follow all traffic rules and regulations. Be a good neighbor! Do not block driveways or entrances to local businesses.
Bus Rider Updates: A message was sent out from the WS/FCS transportation department today regarding the bus app Edulog. If you are still having trouble, please delete the app and re-install. If you are having trouble, please contact the transportation department (336-748-2287). We encourage all bus rider to join our LES BUS REMIND:
