Building on a storied legacy of excellence both on the field and in the classroom, Mt. Tabor High School is proud to announce the appointment of Wingate Smith as its new Athletic Director.
The official introduction took place today during a press conference held at 4:00 PM in the Mt. Tabor Media Center, where administrators, coaches, and boosters gathered to welcome the newest leader of the Spartans’ athletic department.

Mt. Tabor has long been recognized for one of the premier athletic programs in the state of NC, boasting numerous championships and a culture of "Spartan Pride." The selection of Wingate Smith signals a commitment to maintaining those high standards while fostering a new era of growth and competitive success.
