Students can earn credit recovery by successfully completing their entire Summer School course as determined by their instructor. Please note that enrollment does not guarantee a spot in the program.
Dates: Senior Squeeze: May 28 & 29, June 1-4 (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Summer School Credit Recovery: June 8- June 30 M-W (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Summer School Enrollment begins: May 27, 2026
Summer School Enrollment Ends: June 3, 2026 Summer School Graduation Date: TBD- Will be near end of June
Mount Tabor High School Student Priority:
1.) Seniors needing 1 credit to graduate
2.) Juniors needing 1 credit to be promoted to senior status
3.) Sophomores or freshmen who need 1 course to move to the next grade and be on the path leading to graduation with the cohort.
Senior Squeeze- Seniors needing 1 or more currently enrolled courses to graduate. Seniors can continue their credit course(s) from the school year. Students must finish their credit recovery course on or before June 4. Summer school starts with new courses.
Summer School Credit Recovery- Enrollment is based on student priority and availability. Completed paper work does not guarantee a spot in the program
Note: ***If a student has 20 or more full-day absences, 1 out-of-school suspension, or 3 in-school suspensions, a parent conference with the administrator is needed before consideration for enrollment in summer school.
*** Courses: Math: 1,2, 3, 4; Foundations of Math 1, 2, 3 English: 1, 2, 3, 4 Social Studies: American History, Civic Literacy, Economics and Personal Finance, World History Science: Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental, Physical Science Electives: PE/Health Attendance: Attendance at all summer school classes is mandatory. No classes may be missed for any reason. Students can be dismissed early with earned credit from summer school if all class obligations are met.
Lunch and Transportation WILL NOT be provided. Please plan accordingly.
