In September, the Mount Tabor chapter of Best Buddies International held its annual match party. Best Buddies builds connections and community between young students inclusive activities and promotes one-to-one friendships.

Reflecting on her experience with Best Buddies and the importance of matching students, Chapter President Hailey Zakrzewski said, "Being a part of Best Buddies during my four years at Mount Tabor has been so amazing and the best club experience I could have asked for. Getting to see friendships start and flourish and getting to have just the smallest part of that is so special to me."

Neely and Joshua were matched last year and are continuing their friendship this year. Joshua said, “What I love most about Best Buddies is hanging out with my new friends. I’m excited to meet new people.”

Darren and Graham are a new buddy pair for this year. “My favorite thing about Best Buddies is making friends. I am looking forward to doing art,” said Darren.
