North Hills third grade students embarked on an exciting journey back to the 18th century at Bethabara Park!
The day was split into two engaging phases. One group started with a self-paced scavenger hunt across the park, exploring historical landmarks and searching for clues that brought the history of the area to life. Meanwhile, the other group ventured into the recreated 1753 village, where they participated in guided stations that demonstrated the essential skills needed to build a thriving community in the 18th century.
After a lunch break, the groups switched, giving everyone the chance to experience both the scavenger hunt and the hands-on learning at the village. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to connect with history in a fun and interactive way!
