The Under the Sea Dance was a huge success last Friday! Many thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make this a magical night!

We had an extremely successful Multicultural Night last night. Students and families learned a lot about the many countries represented. The food and music were an added bonus! Thank you to everyone who participated!

ORE celebrated Veterans on Friday. It was a wonderful program followed by a time of fellowship and Veterans reading books to our students!

Our Kindergarten classes visited the Old Richmond Fire Station and learned all about fire safety! Mrs. Koppenheffer turned from a teacher to a firefighter in the blink of an eye!



ORES had a fun Mini Carnival Incentive on Thursday to celebrate the positive behavior that our Wildcats have demonstrated in the first quarter! Great job Wildcats for showing your Paw PRIDE!


Ms. Young's class created a project about economics. The students were first producers of a creating an item to sell. Then they shopped as consumers using money they made.


The PTA outdid themselves with this huge, delicious spread for our "Hispanic Heritage" staff luncheon! Thank you to everyone who contributed and to our volunteers who set up and watched students so teachers could have a duty free lunch. It was greatly appreciated!!

The 4th Grade had an awesome field trip to Old Salem on Wednesday! The group had a fun day learning about the history of Old Salem. They really showed their PRIDE throughout the day!



We had an amazing turn out for our Family Night at the book fair!! Thank you so much for your support! The book fair will conclude on Wednesday morning at 9:30, Sept. 24th. You can continue to shop online through Sept. 30th following this site!

Mr. Suber accompanied Mrs. Waterman to the Fox 8 news studios in High Point, where she and others in our profession were recognized as Educator of the Week with a luncheon to honor each recipient's hard work and dedication! Fox 8 picks a teacher or administrator each week throughout the school year as a weekly winner based on nominations. One of those weeks happened to be Old Richmond's very own, Kate Waterman!
