Parkland Students Explored Career Opportunities at the World of Work
Parkland’s 10th-grade students attended the World of Work (WOW) event at the Benton Convention Center on Tuesday, September 10. Students had the opportunity to connect with more than 100 employers and explore a wide range of career pathways.
Students gained valuable insight into professional opportunities in fields such as Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Aviation/Aerospace, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Business Services, and Technology/IT.
Our students were actively engaged throughout the experience, asking questions, exploring career options, and learning about opportunities available beyond the classroom. It was an exciting and valuable experience that allowed Parkland students to begin connecting their interests and skills to future careers!
