Kayden C (3rd grade) was recognized in a big way on April 7! Kayden was selected to throw the first pitch at the 2026 opening Winston-Salem Dash Game. Kayden was selected for this honor because of his dedication to the Kids Heart Challenge- he collected a record breaking amount of donations for this year's event! Way to go, Kayden!
The other top fundraisers in the school were invited to attend the game, as well. A huge thanks to Ms. Ashley Chunn for organizing the Kids Heart Challenge AND the field trip!
