Good Afternoon Dolphin Families,
Tomorrow, 1/28/2026, there will be no in-person instruction. Our school day will be remote.
Tomorrow, all classroom teachers and encore teachers will post a video on their class story pages. Teachers who provide specialized instruction (EC /ESL and Speech Pathologists) will post their information on the school story page. All videos will be posted by 8:30 am tomorrow morning.
All staff will also be accessible and will have "office hours" between 9 am-12 pm. During this time, if you desire to reach out with questions or need to communicate with the teacher, you can do so via email or class dojo message. You should receive a prompt response.
In the video, which will be posted on your child's class story, you will find a greeting from the teacher and any additional instructions they have to share. Remote work could include: choice boards, packets and/or electronic links that can be accessed on any device. Please watch the video posted on your child's class story and refer to the remote learning information that was sent home on Friday.
If your household does not have access to power or items that might be required to complete the work, please communicate with your child's teacher as you are able. We understand that everyone has different situations.
Lastly, if your family is in need of resources during this inclement weather event, please feel free to reach out to me on class dojo or via email at regreen@wsfcs.k12.nc.us.
Stay Safe Everyone!
Thank You,
Dr. Raphael Green-Hughes
