We are so excited about the Vienna Science Fair! We have a goal of 50 or more entries! All participants are invited to a cupcake party and if we get more than 50 entries we will be making SLIME at our cupcake party! All projects are due on December 4th and will be judged on December 5th! We hope your Tiger will show off their science skills! See the link below for all of the details. Why should my child do a science fair project? The opportunity to use many skills at one time. Science projects force students to rely on skills they've learned in many areas. These skills span many disciplines, including but not limited to reading, critical thinking, writing, math, and computer science. http://bit.ly/3BYsMwF

On Friday, September 20, 2024, our 4th and 5th grade students were treated to an author visit with Scott Reintgen! It was a fun and dynamic presentation, enjoyed by our students and staff alike. His new book, The Last Dragon on Mars will be released on October 1, 2024. If you pre-ordered a copy, those will be delivered to Vienna Elementary on October 1, and I will get them to your students! I know they are very excited to read it (so am I)!
