ASVAB

Juniors and seniors interested in joining the military can take the ASVAB Wednesday, November 5, at West free of charge. The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude test that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. This test is required to join any branch of the military. This test is also available to those not interested in the military. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program provides tools to help students learn more about career exploration and planning, in both the civilian and military worlds of work. Sophomores are also invited to take the assessment, however the ASVAB score earned as a sophomore will not be valid for entrance into the military.
