My name is Brian Brookshire, and I am the Assistant Director of the Expanded Learning Program at Imprints Cares and former principal at Whitaker ES.

Thank you to everyone who attended our parent meeting last night in the Media Center. We enjoyed meeting with you and discussing the possibility of establishing an Imprints Cares after-school program at Wiley Middle School.

For families who were unable to attend, we wanted to provide a summary of the information that was shared.

About Imprints Cares

Imprints Cares currently operates Before and After School programs at 22 schools, including three middle schools—Clemmons Middle School, Lewisville Middle School, and Meadowlark Middle School—as well as two charter schools and two private facilities owned and operated by Imprints Cares.

I also shared a little about my background. I am a retired principal from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and currently serve as the Assistant Director of Expanded Learning at Imprints Cares.

Program Start & Enrollment

We are hoping to begin the Wiley Middle School program shortly after Labor Day, with a tentative start date of Tuesday, September 8.

To make the program sustainable, we need a minimum of 20 students enrolled. Once we reach 20 interested students, we will move forward with opening online registration.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priorities. Imprints Cares provides a safe, secure, and engaging environment where students can interact with their peers and participate in a variety of activities.

Please note that all Imprints Cares sites are nut-free environments. Peanuts and tree nuts are not permitted.
