On November 6th ,Mr. Legette and his classmate, Sarai Williams, presented their Graduate Student Research Poster at the North Carolina School Counselor Association's annual fall conference. Their work "Hear Their Potential: Advancing Equity for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students" was awarded first place. They are the first student from North Carolina A&T's School Counseling Department to receive this honor and are working to continue the research on how school counselors can support this unique population of students.
