Welcome Letter from the Principal

Dear Winston-Salem Prep Academy Families,

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to a new school year at Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy! I am honored to serve as your principal and to lead a school community that is rich in tradition, resilience, and a shared commitment to excellence.

At Winston-Salem Prep, we rise together by following The Phoenix Way—a set of core values that guide everything we do. We strive to be prompt, prepared, productive, positive, and polite in all our actions, both in and out of the classroom. These principles are more than just words; they are the foundation of a school culture that empowers students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

This year, we will continue to build a learning environment where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing high-quality instruction, fostering strong relationships, and creating opportunities for every student to thrive.

Families, your partnership is essential to our success. I encourage you to stay connected, get involved, and share your voice. Together, we will ensure that our students not only meet expectations but exceed them—rising like the Phoenix to reach their full potential.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. I look forward to a year filled with growth, achievement, and shared celebration.

With gratitude and excitement,

K. Dixon
