Help Us Set Strategic and Financial Priorities
District leaders are setting goals for next year’s budget and developing a new two-year plan for 2026–2028 to address current challenges, strengthen systems, and ensure consistency across schools. Stakeholders can provide input through the district’s survey until February 11 and attend a community forum for the strategic plan on February 17. More information is available here.
New District AI Guidelines Roll Out for Middle and High Students
WS/FCS has adopted district GenAI Guidelines to ensure our schools remain in alignment with state and national executive orders regarding AI literacy. Secondary students will also have limited access to select GenAI platforms beginning on February 2. The full policy can be reviewed here.
Career Center Hosts Open House
The Career Center will hold its Winter Open House for prospective students and families on Thursday, February 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Guests can tour the building, meet staff and students, and learn about the Career Center’s offerings for AP coursework, college credits, skilled trade training, and a wide range of CTE programs.
