Today we celebrated our first Students of the Month this school year! This year each class will have two students honored each month for being Caring, Resilient, Engaged, and Wise! August winners participated in the morning announcements and received a treat and certificate from Ms. Bradley.

The first day of the 2026-2027 school year was a success! Brainy Bruno Bobcat was here to welcome everyone this morning!
Staff took a field trip today to see our new home! Students start at The New Brunson on January 27, 2027!

On Wednesday, August 5, Daggett Shuler Attorneys at Law partnered with WS/FCS to hold their annual Back-to-School Backpack Program. This program allows children from elementary schools around the district to receive backpacks and school supplies that their families may not be able to afford. There are 325 backpacks filled with supplies that will go to children; 250 will be split between Moore, Bolton, South Fork, Whitaker, and Brunson elementary schools, and the remaining 75 will go to the Bright Beginnings program, an initiative led by the YMCA in which children can go shopping with volunteers to get the supplies they need for the upcoming school year.
“Our hope is that this is a small piece of several pieces in the community that are going to come together to get the school started off on the right foot for these young people,” said David Daggett, managing partner of Daggett Shuler.

The Brunson Bobcats have had a busy but fun last two days of school with field day, a blow-up parade of staff, and a silly string war for the winners of the PTA Fun Run fundraiser!
Today was the last 5th grade promotion here at Old Brunson! We celebrated our students as they get ready to transition to middle school. Congratulations!!!
