PTA Meeting
Thursday, September 5
6:00p.m.

Essential Question: How does experiencing nature change the way you think of it? Ms. Cash and her 5th graders compared their experience to the late president Roosevelt’s experiences they discovered he had within the text, “Camping with the President”. They concluded with reading his autobiography & connected their vocabulary to the items found in nature (debris, naturalist, encounter, & spectacular). #learningandgrowinginharmony

Ms. Salinas and her third graders add a little kinesthetic learning and creative movement to their vocabulary review as a ‘before reading’ strategy. #learningandgrowinginharmony #wsfcs #studentengagement

A Floating Open House has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Friday, August 9 from 10am-2pm.
Se ha reprogramado la jornada de casa abierta flotante para mañana, viernes 9 de agosto, de 10 a. m. a 2 p. m.

Good morning, Tigers,
As we all await the decision by the district about canceling open house this evening, please remember that you are on a flex day and do not need to report until 11 if you choose to do so.
Pre-K and K staff (and all involved), you do not need to report until 9 if you choose to do so.
I will make a decision by 8:30 if we will move Kindergarten and Pre-K Orientation to regular Open House (5-7). This will allow us to be in line with the district's decision about Open House.
Tell a friend and Be safe!
