The Board of Education recognized 55 student athletes from seven schools for winning NCHSAA state championships in cheerleading, swimming, track and field, and wrestling during their meeting on Tuesday night. Congratulations athletes!

The Bobcats brought the energy and the heat to the Annual OCS Basketball Tournament at Mt. Tabor High School! It was more than just a game; it was a showcase of teamwork, grit, and that unmistakable Glenn spirit. F

At the Blue Ridge Concert Performance Assessment, Our Wind Ensemble received a rating of Excellent. As well as our Percussion Ensemble, Orchestra, and Jazz Band all received a Superior rating, which is the highest they can get!

ASPIRE WS currently operates in all WS/FCS high schools except for Early College and Middle College.
Students will gain skills to build a solid foundation of workplace readiness they can use in career planning and goal setting. Sessions include topics such as self-discovery, building a personal brand, communication, conflict management, professionalism, creating a resume, and connecting with local business professionals to talk about careers. The capstone session of the program is an employability workshop that includes programming led by local business professionals and educational institutions. Upon completion, students will receive a Work Ready credential from Greater Winston-Salem Inc.
Transportation and meals are provided.

All students should bring their school issued chromebooks (CHARGED UP) to school everyday they have an exam. This is the only device they can take their state exam on.
