Join us for the GHS Extravaganza Wednesday, January 22nd at 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
A Christmas Carol is a our full-length musical production is the result of significant collaboration across the entire Bobcat Performing Arts team. Jonathan Miller composed the music, while I adapted the story, and helped the tech crew and actors bring this story to life. Madison Forbes provided the choreography, and Kevin Periman worked closely with the concert choir to serve as our traditional carolers. We are thrilled to bring this production to the stage for the third time in my tenure at Glenn.
A Christmas Carol will be presented Thursday Dec. 5th and Friday Dec. 6th at 7:00pm
Saturday Academy will begin November 2nd from 8:00 am -12:00 pm in the Media Center. Students should be dropped off on the Union Cross side of Glenn High School. Saturday Academy is for make up time and assignments for Quarter 1 & 2.
Students must have assignments to work on (Sleeping/devices not permitted and student will not receive credit for make up time)

Freshman In-person Report Card Pick-Up Event
Wednesday, October 23rd
5pm-7pm
GHS Cafeteria
Parent(s)/guardian(s) will be required to pick up report cards for Freshmen student(s) and sign for them. This event will serve as a curriculum night for parents to meet with their student’s teachers and understand ways to aid in their student’s success.
Parents will have a chance to sign up for Parent Portal, update contact information, and speak with the Freshman Academy Staff to learn more about policies, procedures, and promotion. We will share other important information such as tutoring hours and promotion requirements, as well as offer the opportunity to complete the Parent Panorama Survey.
The PreACT at Glenn High School will be administered via the Online format on 10/30/2024. The makeup test date is scheduled for 11/7/2024. Please see GHS website for more information.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, we will host our Title I Annual I Meeting and Senior Family Information Night in the GHS Auditorium starting at 6:00 PM.
It's almost time for the 2024 WS/FCS Marching Band Jamboree! Twelve marching bands will take the field at North Forsyth High School to perform their own routines and finish the night with a joint performance. The show begins at 5 pm on Monday, September 16.
Join us for GHS Family Event. You will learn about Title 1 schools and your rights under the federal program.
There will be Senior class information, post-secondary, planning, financial aid, and Mini-Fair. All grades are welcome!
You and other families will gain access to the Student Information System (PowerSchool) and discuss ways to support your students.

Remember, the test is optional and there is an $18 fee. Accommodations are not provided.
