Celebrate your Class of 2027 senior with a special dedication that will last a lifetime! Families now have the opportunity to purchase a personalized senior ad in the Glenn High School yearbook and highlight their graduate's achievements, memories, and milestones.

Ads are available in multiple sizes, including full-page, half-page, quarter-page, and eighth-page options. All ads must be created and submitted online through the Yearbook Order Center. The deadline to reserve and complete your senior ad is December 31, 2026.

Kernersville Chamber Next Gen At Glenn

More than 100 students had the opportunity to develop valuable workplace readiness skills through an interactive and engaging learning experience. Members of the Kernersville Chamber visited Glenn during first and second periods to present to students enrolled in Career and Technical Education courses.

Throughout the sessions, students gained insight into effective interviewing techniques, the importance of both hard and soft skills, and the role strong communication plays in workplace success. Presenters encouraged active participation, giving students opportunities to collaborate, share ideas, and interact with both the presenters and their peers.

One of the most exciting activities challenged students to work in teams and build the tallest possible tower using only ten sheets of paper. This hands-on challenge highlighted the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and communication in a fun and memorable way.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and walked away with practical skills and knowledge that will help prepare them for future academic and career success.

Saturday Academy Returns for First Quarter

Students are invited to attend Saturday Academy during the first quarter to complete make-up work and stay on track academically. Sessions will be held in the Media Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on September 12, September 19, and October 3. Students should be dropped off on the Union Cross side of Glenn.

Please note that Saturday Academy is designed for academic work only, and students must arrive with assigned tasks to complete. Sleeping and cell phone use will not be permitted during the session. Saturday Academy provides a focused environment where students can make up.
