As a critical member of our school community, we're reaching out to invite dedicated volunteers to serve as proctors during our state assessment period. On Friday, May 23, 2025, Hanes Magnet Middle School administration and staff cordially invite you to the 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony. This event will take place at Simon G. Atkins High School located at 3605 Old Greensboro Road. The 8th Grade Wolfpack Team will start their ceremony at 8:30am. The 8th Grade Pirates Team will start their ceremony at 10:00am. The 8th Grade Aggies Team will start their ceremony at 11:30am. This will be a ticketed event; students will receive 4 (four) tickets. Students MUST pay their student fees in order to receive their tickets. We hope you are able to join us to celebrate your students’ continued success. If you have any questions, please reach out to your students’ homeroom teacher. Please be reminded of the following: The WS/FCS Clear Bag Policy will be enforced. Hanes Magnet Middle School warmly invites our rising 6th Grade students to our 6th Grade 101 Information Session. Parents, families, and students will get to meet 6th grade and Encore teachers and staff, purchase PE uniforms ($25), receive summer math resources, learn about athletic teams, attend a SMOD re-sale event, and purchase Dragon Spirit Wear!
