
Mr. Suber and Ms. Sheppard provided breakfast for the ORES Staff at the staff meeting this morning! We are very thankful for our staff and job they do!





We had a great time representing ORES at the Rural Hall parade on Sunday. It was fun to see some of our students in the crowd!





ORES Spirit Night at Dairi-O was a fun night! Thank you to all that came out!




Ms. Morris's class used their creativity during specials. They built pods out of hula hoops and pretended they were in space!



Ms. Koppenheffer's class practiced their map-reading skills today. They used the map to find the hidden Turkeys that were located around the school. Their mission was to find all 9 turkeys!



Our 5th-grade students were challenged to create an insulated cup for drinks that would stay cold. They used their creativity and critical thinking skills to complete the task.





This week Ms. Synder's class has been working on comparing lengths and nonstandard measurements. Yesterday, the students partnered up and measured how far they could jump using cubes and crayons! They had so much fun with the activity



Our third graders had a visitor during recess today! They loved playing basketball with a Forsyth County Deputy!! I think they want a rematch!


Thank you to everyone who came out to the ORES PFE Career Night. We enjoyed learning about different careers and high schools students can attend. Thank you also to our presenters!





Our 4th and 5th graders were treated to the WS Symphony's Strings ensemble as part of the Mary Starling Concert Series. These performances are designed to encourage students to register for band, chorus, or orchestra in middle school.



ORES wants to thank all the Veterans that were able to attend the Veterans Day Progam! We thank all Veterans for their service.




Our Kindergarten students had to put on their listening ears to use the sound clues given to figure out what was happening in the next scene. They were good listening detectives!


ORES Staff would like to thank Gateway Baptist Church for the gift basket full of snacks. We do appreciate the thoughtfulness and the delicious snacks!!


ORES Students are having a fun day! Everyone looks great in their Book Character Costume and there is a virtual author visit from Mary Pope Osborne, the Magic Tree House Series author! The Magic Tree House book saga has 110 books! How many have you read?


Today is the day that we are having our ORES Code of Conduct Incentive Carnival!! Students are having so much fun! Thank you to all our volunteers.

ORES had a blast celebrating the 50th Day of School yesterday by dressing like we were in the 1950s!

Third-grade students and their teachers are having a great time at Kaleideum today!




Ms. Gangwani's class had fun building robots in Media today! Ms. Hepler had them zooming all around the Media Center!
