Old Richmond is celebrating Hispanic Heritage today! We have presenters from 4 different countries immersing students in their culture!


Our 2nd-grade classes are studying the life cycle of a Butterfly. We are excited to see our Butterflies have hatched!! If you have a 2nd-grader, please ask them about the life cycle!


It's Raining Cats and Dogs here at ORES! Ms. Roberts' class is playing a spirited game of It's Raining Cats and Dogs which helps students work on their throwing skills!


Tonight is the night! It's our first SPIRIT NIGHT! Come out to El Maguay on Yadkinville Road from 5-8 pm. Enjoy a good meal while supporting ORES! Hope to see you there!


Ms. Allen's class had fun today counting their movements. In the picture, they are counting by 5s as they spin!


Ms. Helper did a read-aloud with our 1st graders. She read Llama Llama and the Bully Goat. She led a discussion on how the characters felt in the book when the Bully Goat was not nice.

Our students participated in the PTA Candy Fundraiser Kick-off this morning with Mr. Steve, The Candyman,. The proceeds from the fundraiser will go to putting a sunshade over the K-2 playground! 3rd-5th Grade appreciates the sunshade over their playground on those hot days!!


Ms. Mulhern's 5th Grade Science Classes are creating a model of the Water Cycle. Once the model is made, they can observe the Water Cycle in action!


Surge September Fundraiser
Surge trampoline park wants to donate to Old Richmond. For September anyone who buys a jump ticket and mentions Old Richmond, Surge will donate $3 per person to ORES!


Ms. Shore's class is learning about the water cycle in Ms. Simpson's Science special. They created a picture to show a model of the water cycle.
