
The Scholastic Book Fair is here!! There is a preview sale this Saturday 11-1 during Trunk or Treat. All books are located in our cafeteria. Families are invited to come and purchase books during school hours starting Saturday thru November 1st.


Don't forget you are invited to attend Trunk or Treat 2024 at The Special Children's School Saturday, October 19th between the hours of 11-1. This is a free and safe alternative Halloween celebration for our students and families. We are excited to see you tomorrow!!!

The Mount Tabor Cadets joined our school age PE classes yesterday. The class is practicing for Special Olympics Bowling and the students from Mount Tabor helped our students work on their bowling skills.

Due to weather events Open House has been cancelled for this evening. Classroom staff will be off campus for training on Friday, August 9th. However, the school will be open Saturday August 10th, from 10-2 for parents to stop by and pick up/drop off paperwork.

The Special Children's School is enrolling typical preschoolers. Our inclusive classrooms have a 1:6 ratio. Each classroom has a Birth-Kindergarten Certified teacher in addition to two teacher assistants. It is a great way for students to learn side by side!

Ms. Hunter, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Cheryl took their last field trip for the school year to Reynolda Gardens and Old Town Park. They had a great time learning about plants and flowers as well as playing on the playground equipment.
