Greetings Southeast Families!
MWF are B Days, and Tuesday/Thursday are A Days.
Only 9 weeks until we start our Summer Break! During the 9 weeks we are asking that our students remain focused on their academics and make good decisions.
Distractions and poor decisions can interfere with valuable instructional time. At this point in the year, we have no time to waste. We want all students in school on time and learning each day; however, students who choose not to follow school expectations may face consequences such as time in ISS or being sent home.
Families, your support during this final stretch is very important. Please take a moment to speak with your child about finishing the year strong, attending school daily, and making positive choices. Parents and guardians, you are encouraged to review your child’s grades regularly in Infinite Campus. This will keep you informed of how your child is doing. Feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions.
Warm weather is here! Please be reminded about our school dress expectations. Students should arrive dressed appropriately for the school environment. Please be mindful of the length of shorts and tops so that students meet the school dress guidelines. Our goal is to maximize instructional time and avoid situations where families must be contacted for clothing changes.
Below are some important upcoming dates:
· Monday 3/23- Spring Pictures- Only students who have prepaid or bring funds to pay for pictures will be photographed.
· Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Track tryouts will take place here at Southeast Middle School Monday and Tuesday March 23rd and 24th from 2-4pm. Parents and guardians are asked to pick up your students in the bus lot near the athletic fields by 4pm. Please be sure your student is eligible to try out academically and have a current physical on file. Students you are asked to dress for the anticipated warm weather and don’t forget to bring your cleats.

· April 6- Regular School Day (Make-Up Day)

· April 13-14th- Diagnostic Assessments for iready and HMH.
Lastly the first week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week. We really want to honor our teachers for their commitment to our students and for all the work they put in daily. If you or your business would like to donate any items for Our Teacher Appreciation Week Celebrations, please reach out to any member of the Administration team.
