Join the fun! The Student Council Members of Brunson Elementary are participating in the Crisis Control Ministry's Wee Care! Cereal Drive. Wee Care! is a program designed to educate preschool and elementary school-age children about the importance of good nutrition while encouraging them to give to support their local community. The donated cereal will be distributed in the Crisis Control Ministry Winston-Salem and Kernersville client-choice food pantries to hungry families experiencing financial crises. Last year, 71 participating schools donated - nearly 10,000 pounds, which is more than 161,000 servings!

HOW YOU AND YOUR Wee ONE CAN HELP:

DONATE CEREAL: Help your child select cereal to donate. Unopened boxes of cereal and cereal bars will be collected at your child's school from February 23-27, 2026.

Students will bring their cereal boxes and place them in the boxes located in the front lobby according to their grade level. The grade level with the most cereal boxes collected will receive a special prize. Our goal as a school is to collect 600 cereal boxes.

Thank you in advance for your participation and support,

Brunson Elementary Student Council
