Thank you to our longtime, community partner, Home Moravian Church, for the generous donation of school supplies. They also sponsored a breakfast for staff on one of the beginning-of-the-year workdays. They send volunteers to us throughout the year.
Thank you HMC for all you continue to do for us.

#DLESPTA has rebranded themselves as "Tiger Family." They want to see you and hear from you this year. You have many ways to get involved from sharing your email and getting on the communication list to purchasing a tee-shirt or Magnet. You can sign up to help with school events or volunteer.
Thank you #TigerFamily for supporting the PK/K Orientation, Open House, and a staff luncheon so far this year.

At Diggs-Latham, we integrate Academics and Arts in all we do. Each year, we create a sub-theme that reflects just that.
This year, we are "Growing by Leaps and Bounds." Our infrastructure and instructional practices aim at best practices for academic growth. As we have reflected different aspects of our Arts Magnet theme over the years, this year, we reflect 'dance' in the "leaps and bounds" we are going to move to met and exceed growth.
Our staff made connections to the theme during our beginning-of-the-year workshops, meetings, and professional development. We even worked in small groups to teach and learn dance moves, reflecting on best practices for teaching students new concepts and scaffolding the learning.
We look forward to an exciting year, full of active engagement, "growing by leaps and bounds."

Congratulations to our #FutureReadyLearningLab Teachers, Ms. Cash and Mrs. Seymour, who have worked hard to create engaging lessons that provide hands-on opportunities for students with real-world connections, while simultaneously teaching academics as well as durable skills related to #ThePortraitofaGraduate. They were recently celebrated as part of the 85 #WSFCS #FRLL Cohort.
We are excited to announce that we exceeded our goal for our annual United Way of Forsyth County campaign. Thank you to Mrs. Edwards for coordinating the school campaign.
Congratulations to 1st Grade Teacher, Ms. James, for being chosen as one of eight beginning teacher recipients of a Promise Award.
