🚍 Important 2026-2027 Bus Stop Information for Families🚍
If your child is entering Kindergarten, Grade 6, or Grade 9 for the 2026–2027 school year, please remember to submit bus stop requests at your student’s current school by May 8.
WSFCS Policies:
🚨 Requests after May 8 will not receive a bus assignment until after September 3, 2026.
🏠 Transportation is provided to residential addresses only, and requests must be made through the school—no online process available.

We miss our students and families so much! While we work remotely, our science teachers are clearly still experimenting with momentum, trajectory, and force. Looks like someone became the target of some excellent applied physics! ❄️
We'll be continuing with day five remote learning activities tomorrow as we ensure all areas around the district are safe for everyone's return. Your safety is always our top priority.

⛸️Since ice skating is not the preferred method to arrive at school—and so many neighborhoods and even our own school parking lot have not yet been treated—WSFCS has declared that Friday, January 30, will also be a remote learning day.

🧊 Stay safe out there! Those icy roads and chilly temps aren't going anywhere just yet, so please keep your families warm and safe indoors. Hot cocoa and blanket forts are strongly encouraged (okay, maybe not required, but definitely recommended)!

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools has implemented a remote learning day on Wednesday, January 28. EFMS students received paper copies of their assignments on January 23; they only need to complete a single day of work to count as present on Wednesday, January 28. Work can be completed on lined paper and turned in when students return to school.
Important: To avoid confusion, all students will be completing the same tasks regardless of grade level.
