Kathryn Gauldin from Piedmont Craftsmen presents to art students about different types of weaving by local artists. She also noted how math and science are used to create the intricate designs. 24 BARRELS FILLED FOR HUNGRY FAMILIES IN OUR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY! AMAZING!
Our goal this year was a lofty 19 barrels — and we CRUSHED it with 24 barrels! This is an incredible tribute to teamwork, community, and the Spirit of Hanes!
Thank you for all of your participation, support, and donations. This is our second biggest donation haul EVER in the history of the Food Drive!

We are excited to announce a special opportunity for Hanes 8th grade students through one of our partners, Wake Forest University's School of Medicine. The ECHO Program will introduce students to the world of healthcare by showcasing the various programs and health professions offered by the School of Medicine. Interested students met this morning to learn about the program and rigorous application process.
