WS/FCS middle and elementary schools have now also completed their 2026 Battle of the Books competitions. Battle of the Books tasks students with reading a selection of books and competing quiz bowl style to test their reading comprehension and teamwork. This year's placing teams were:

Ms. LeMay's science classes kicked off physics this week with a hands-on tower building competition! Students put their engineering skills to the test, and the tallest free-standing tower reached an impressive 148 cm!
This is just the beginning. After diving deeper into the principles (and āprotectorsā š) of physics, students will revisit the challenge and see how their new knowledge helps them build even stronger, taller structures. We love seeing learning in action! #learnersmindset #collaboration
