Due to unsafe road conditions, icy sidewalks and parking lots, WS/FCS will have a remote learning Friday, January 30, 2026.
Due to continued unsafe road conditions, WSFCS will have a remote learning day on Thursday, January 29th. Students must complete day two of their remote learning plan to receive credit for attendance. Work should be returned when we return to school.

Hello WS/FCS Families and Staff,
In anticipation of unsafe road conditions, WS/FCS school and district buildings will be closed on Monday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 27. All student activities, including afterschool programs, will be cancelled.
These will not be remote learning days. Students are encouraged to enjoy the winter weather if it is safe to do so, spend time reading, and complete regular homework.
Only essential Operations staff will report if it is safe to do so. All other staff may use telework, annual leave, comp time or make up the hours, as their position allows.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep all staff and students safe.
Your remote plan is available here! This learning plan will help us prevent disruptions to learning in the event of school closings due to inclement weather.
Here’s how it will work:
Each student in grades 6-8 will receive a paper 5-day Core Remote Learning Plan consisting of five days’ worth of learning activities. The information provided on the paper Core remote plan may also be accessed online through the link below. Students will be required to complete the assigned work for each remote learning day and turn it in when they return to school.
